This week we got an email that really touched our hearts. Carie wrote in that her family uses Textfree to stay in touch with her husband while he is stationed overseas.
Here’s part of her sweet email:
“Hello to the Pinger Family!!
I just wanted to tell you how grateful my husband and I are to you for creating such an amazing application for our iPhones! The newest version with voicemail is excellent!!! The calls are clear, we can text back and forth while he uses his iPhone as an iPod in wifi areas. WE are grateful to you, I can call my husband and it’s as if he’s sitting next to me talking, even though he’s so far away! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! You have made a Military Family very happy!!!”

I to love textfree. Although i do not have a phone, i use textfree web a lot. it has allowed me to keep in touch with all of my family all over the world. I can’t thank you enough for creating this. Thanks again,

I would like it if you could get on textfree web from you apple or android mobile device. What if you don’t have wifi, then you can’t download the app, and you can’t text. Instead of letting you login to your account it asks you what device you have, then you click on your device and it takes to either the app store or android market. I think a good alternative would be to have the same screen here it asks you what device you have but you should be able to say no thanks and it would pull up a textfree web login, so you could login from your mobile device

It does have that 🙂 just type in the browser of your mobile device pinger.com/textfree and it will pull up the textfree web on your phone or tablet, but you need flashplayer on your phone which you can download in the market on an android, but sadly, flashplayer doesnt work on iphones or ipod touch’s 😦 so you can only use textfree web on android devices without an application for it 🙂

that is so nice 🙂 when will you have textfree with voice for android? im so anxiously waiting!! Its killing me 😛
