Pinger please stop taking away my number if I don’t use you for a month. I have lost 2 numbers that I gave to friends and PROMOTED the Pinger TextFree app to them. Next time you take my number away, I will WARN THEM TO STAY AWAY FROM PINGER APPS. How dare you?

Sorry, but it’s in our Terms of Service that a number will be expired if it looks inactive to our system (no outgoing texts or calls). We do warn you if we think your number looks inactive to our system by sending emails to your verified email address (this is why it’s important to verify!). You can learn more about this policy on our help site, or from our Terms of Service.

this is RIDICULOUS! i was expecting a very important text, and my number was taken away. five days before it expired i sent a text to pinger to try to keep my account from expiring, but yet, it expired. can you please explain this? i lost $50 worth of minutes. fix this before i tell all my facebook friends and twitter followers not to use textfree!

Hi Val, we let you know via your registered email when your number is about to expire. (This is why we ask you to sign up using a real email address & that you make sure our emails aren’t going to your spam account.) We include instructions on how to keep your number active. Responding to a text from Pinger won’t keep your number active 😦 For additional help (and to see if we can get those minutes back), please email support@pinger.com

Hi! If your texts aren’t going through from your app, email support@pinger.com and let them know what’s up! If you’re on Textfree Web, international texting is not currently enabled.
